Sandra J. Page (Selm) age 81, of Brookville, died unexpectedly Monday, June 26, 2023 at her residence in Brookville.
Born April 3, 1942, in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Acle D. & Hilda M. (Knecht) Boyd.
Sandy was retired, having worked for many years as a Registered Nurse. In her leisure time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and reading. Her favorite color was purple, and she was affectionately known by some as the Purple Lady for her purple hair.
She had attended Legacy Christian Church in Harrison, Ohio. And was former treasurer and board member of the WATCH Center in Brookville, and had also been a sponsor of Franklin County Special Olympics.
Survivors include a daughter, Karla Page-Bates of Batesville, a son, Henry Ray (Sheila) Page III of Richmond; ten grandchildren, Marjean Knable, Jayne Hicks, Cathy Shank, Ray Page, Charlie Heath, Kayanna Brummett, John Carson Jr., Jeremy Carson, Julianna (Kristian) Carson-Smith, Barbara Page; 19 great-grandchildren, as well as her beloved dog, Precious.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Page Jr., her second husband, Urban J. 'Jack' Selm, a daughter, Geri Lord; as well as a half-sister, Shirley Ronyan.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Rev. Mike Holman will officiate the funeral services at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 30, 2023 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will then follow in St. Michael Cemetery in Brookville.
