On Monday, March 13, the Main Street Family Medicine practice of Scott Marsteller, MD, and Katie Marker, NP-C, began seeing patients at its new location at the Reid Health Primary and Specialty Care building at 11051 St. Rd. 101.

Community members had the opportunity to tour the new 20,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility at the open house last Thursday, March 9. Those visiting could see firsthand some of the features that make the facility top-notch, such as the physical therapy room, blood draw stations and laboratory,  large exam and procedure rooms, the x-ray area and the spacious waiting areas.

The facility sits on 5.7 acres, replacing Reid's office along Main Street in Brookville.

Beyond the new facility's features, it also provides the community with additional services much closer to home. For example, the Behavioral Health outpatient department at the new location serves adults 18 and older who are suffering from emotional and psychological distress such as:

•Anger issues
•Alzheimer's
•Dementia
•Adult ADD
•Grief and loss issues
•SchizophreniaBipolar disorder
•Anxiety
•Depression

The service provides patient evaluations and assessments to determine diagnosis and level/type of treatment needed, counseling and medication management services, education and in-services for groups and facilities, and assessments, along with follow-up care for extended care facilities.

The Reid outpatient team includes psychiatrists, nurses, mental health counselors and licensed clinical social workers.

Other new services will include Cardiology, OB/GYN, Rehab, Laboratory, X-ray, Audiology, ENT and Podiatry.
