Bradley A. Norman, 42, of Brookville, was arrested Friday, March 17, on charges of child molesting, a Level 1 felony, and Child Molesting-Fondling or touching with a child under 14, a level 4 felony. According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Indiana State Police (ISP) Detective Brian Earls, the victim disclosed to her family that Norman had touched her inappropriately. During an initial interview with Norman, he first denied touching the victim. However, during a follow-up interview, Norman admitted to fondling the victim. Norman's initial hearing was held on March 22, and he entered a preliminary plea of not guilty. On March 23, the state appointed Paul Barada Jr to represent Norman. A bond hearing will be held on April 19 at 9 a.m. A jury trial has been set for Aug. 21 at 8:30 a.m.A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and Mr. Norman is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
