Recently, Main Street Brookville was awarded an $11,725 grant.

The restoration and care taken of downtown Brookville has been a project in the works for some time now. Denny Spinner, the executive director of Office of Community and Rural Affairs, mentions how Brookville has been a great partner during this project.

"Brookville is taking all of the right steps to decide how it can improve its appeal, and why it's special. Many small communities share similarities, but Brookville is actively working to show its uniqueness."

The grant is for the build of a robust website, where visitors will have all the information needed in one place. The hope with this website is to form a connective relationship with visitors, and the progress forthcoming to stay involved. The website integrates the collaboration of popular internet services with Franklin County to provide the community with a complete breakdown of what Franklin County has to offer, where you can visit, and updates for the community overall.

Some examples for the website usage include open conversations with the community, a showcasing of the town's heritage, and the quality of life our town provides for the residents.

"I know Lt.Governor Crouch is a huge fan and it's really great to see towns such as Brookville evolving for the better," Spinner states.
Brookville Main Street is nationally accredited.

We look forward to seeing what else our community brings to the table as we continue to take care of our town. The ideas, the actions, and all steps taken on this journey have given our residents a better quality of life.
