The Wildcats played a doubleheader on Thursday against the Greensburg Pirates and lost game one 9-2. The second game was more favorable for FC with a two-run sixth inning giving them a 5-3 win. FC hosted Northeastern for another doubleheader on Saturday. The first game in that series was also a loss for the Cats, but a 9-6 win in the second gave FC their ninth win of the season.

Thursday's game one with the Pirates saw Trevor Moizuk take the mound for the Cats and go 4.2 innings in the loss. Greensburg jumped out to a 3-0 lead when Caleb Greiwe scored on an Austin Adams single, then Justin Adkins and Nate Murray each picked up RBI. FC brought it to a one-run game in the bottom of the first. Garrett Kuntz doubled for the Cats, scoring Chase Burton, and Xander Rodriguez knocked in Kuntz to make the score 3-2. A two-run second inning and another run in the third gave the Bucs a 6-2 lead. They added on again in the final two innings to hand the Cats a loss. Rodriguez and Burton both led FC with two hits; Rodriguez' second hit was a triple, but he was stranded on base. Eli Butt pitched 2.1 innings of relief, striking out three and surrendering three runs.

In the second game of the evening FC scored first with Butt knocking in Brant Ertel, Ben Becker singled in Rodriguez, and Butt scored on an error giving FC a 3-0 lead. Avery Harrison was on the mound for the Cats and in the bottom of the first he allowed two runs after beaning a Pirate batter and allowing another run on a fielder's choice. FC led 3-2 after the first frame. The Bucs added a run in the bottom of the third to tie the game up and it remained 3-3 until the top of the sixth. Burton singled for FC, scoring Moizuk and Burton scored on an error to give the Cats a win to even the evenings series at 1-1. Becker was the only Cat to pick up multiple hits, going two of four in the game. Harrison pitched three innings and walked five while allowing three earned runs. Burton tossed the final four innings and picked up the win striking out five and allowing just one hit.

The Cats faced the Northeastern Knights on Saturday and in the first of two games fell behind in the fifth after the Knights scored five runs in the frame. Butt and Ertel were the lone FC hitters to cross the plate in the game and the Knights rolled to a 10-2 win. Max Dickey tossed five innings and gave up one earned run but was credited with the loss. Freshman Blake Stephenson tossed two innings with two strikeouts and three runs allowed. 
The second game was a better outcome for the Cats as they scored in the second frame to go up 1-0. The Knights put up two runs in the top of the third frame taking the lead, but FC added three runs in the bottom of the inning, then piled on five more in the fourth to take a 9-2 lead. Northeastern added two runs in the fifth and two more in the top of the seventh before coming up short and giving FC a win. Burton and Braylon Kruthaupt each scored twice for FC in the game. Rodriguez led the Cats with three RBI.

FC traveled to Lawrenceburg on Monday evening; after a back-and-forth battle, FC took a one-run lead in the fourth then added another in the top of the seventh to earn an EIAC win and improve to 10-8 on the season, 5-6 in conference games.

The Cats got three doubles in the game, one each from Rodriguez, Kuntz and Moizuk.
