Sr. industrial Engineer: Will do PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis), Control Plan and Safety Failure Mode Effects Analysis [SFMEA}; work in factory environment; Design, improves, and installs integrated manufacturing or administrative systems which use people, materials, information, equipment, and energy; Line Balancing - Evaluates work activities performed by individuals or machines to identify opportunities to optimize operating time and distributing of the work content to meet the changes in customer demands while continuing to optimize manufacturing processes; Work Measurement - Quantified and evaluated the elements of work that make up a process by breaking it down into detailed steps to identify and reduce waste, and redistribute work content to optimize process flows; Workstation Design - Designs operator work stations that are safe, healthy, and ergonomic while accounting for cost, quality, and delivery to contribute to an efficient work environment; Process Layout - Creates and modify an optimized manufacturing process by incorporating knowledge of equipment, human interfaces, sequences of production steps, and facilities requirements in order to reduce process time and waster; Co-ordinates with Shop floor people & contributed improvement ideas; Establishes and maintains departmental expense and capital expenditures with pre-established budget, Develops and implements cost reductions to meet or exceed departmental and plant goals; Applies continuous improvement methods utilizing lean manufacturing processes to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Perform regular Cycle-time Audits on different processes. Will do Shop floor process analysis; Reduce cycle times (equipment) improve 5S/visual management. Master’s degree in industrial engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology required with 5 years Automotive Powertrain experience, foreign equivalent accepted, 40hrs a week minimum, must be willing to travel/relocate to client sites.
