He was born on August 2, 1953, in Brookville, Indiana to the late Victor Stenger and the late Mary (Reuter) Stenger.
Victor was united in marriage to Alice Rhodes on September 1, 2017.
He worked part-time at South Adams as a janitor. Before working at South Adams he worked at Caterpillar in Lafayette for 10 years.
Victor had a deep love for his family. He enjoyed farming, and farmed alongside his father and uncle, up until his early 50's. He also enjoyed doing puzzles and loved to cut grass. He was passionate about traveling, and this is how he and Alice met. He loved going to Bradenton, Florida, where his parents wintered for 17 years.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Stenger of Berne, Indiana; son, Steven Pryba of Toledo, Ohio; daughter, Elizabeth Terwillier of Waterville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Caroline Pryba and Eli Terwillier; four sisters, June Ott, Jean (Bill) Dwenger, Virginia (Gene) Buck, and Martha (Bill) Dramann; and two cats, Baby and Peaka. Victor was preceded in death by two sisters, Joeann Stenger and Darline Steinmetz.
A funeral service were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021 at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel located at 365 W. Main St. Berne, Indiana with Father Jonathan Agdedo officiating.
Family and friends were received from 12 noon until the 1:00 p.m. service followed on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021 at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne, Indiana.
