Michael Collins, age 54, of Liberty, passed away on December 19, 2021 in his home with loved ones by his side. Michael was born in Richmond, on May 28, 1967 to Carl Ray Collins Sr. and Linda Marie Tice.

Michael was known as “Tree” to all that had the privilege of calling him friend and family. Tree was a hard-working man that provided for his family. He worked at Deufol North America as a machine operator for 15 years, and was known to be a machine himself. He was loved and respected by those that had the opportunity to work with him.

In Michael's spare time, he enjoyed his passion and love for fishing. He had a large collection of monkeys and sports cars and demonstrated his need for speed on a daily basis. His family was most important to him, especially his three children. He was a protector and would do anything for them. As the patriarch of the family, he was looked to for advice, assistance and love.

He will be greatly missed by his sons, Timothy Michael (Emily) Collins, Ryan Lee Collins and his daughter Amber Marie Collins. Also his siblings; Carl Ray (Ginger) Collins, and Danny Ray Collins, and Linda Annette Collins. His memories will be cherished by his grandchildren Kylie Victoria Collins, Grace Marie Collins, and Syhrus Lee Collins.

Visitation for Michael will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, Liberty, 310 N. Main St. Liberty, IN 47353. A funeral service officiated by Wayne Griffee will immediately follow at the funeral home.
