Mr. Raymond Edward Pfledderer, 91, of Tifton, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at his residence.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 11 A.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Kouts, Indiana with Rev. Joseph Ostafinski officiating. Burial followed at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Kouts.

Trip Covington, Hudson Doran, Nick Simpson, Tom Pfledderer, Johnny Pfledderer, and Scotty Pfledderer served as pallbearers.

Mr. Pfledderer was born April 4, 1930 in Kouts, to the late Christopher Pfledderer and Lillian Wiesjahn Pfledderer; in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Marilyn Lampl Pfledderer, who died February 14, 1998, his grandsons John Paul Pfledderer and Adam Hunt Pfledderer. He graduated from Kouts High School where he was inducted into the Kouts High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017. Mr. Pfledderer did many different jobs during his life. He worked as the market manager for Heinold Hog Market for twenty-seven years, he owned and operated Yogurt You’ll Love for twenty years and he served as the golf pro shop attendant at the ABAC golf course for six years.

Mr. Pfledderer is survived by his wife, Remona Mims Pfledderer of Tifton; his daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and David Covington of Tifton; his sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Becky Pfledderer of Liberty, John and Karen Pfledderer of Kouts, and Scott and Vicky Pfledderer of Yorkshire, Ohio; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; his brother, Vernon Pfledderer of Dayton, Ohio., and his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Dick Keller of Emporia, Kansas.
