Alvin “Al” Weber, 72, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

Born on October 9, 1949, to Jeannie and Harold Weber, Al was a loving, generous, funny, and caring man whose “larger than life” personality made him truly memorable. Al lived each day with great joy and appreciation, taking nothing for granted. He was generous with everyone he knew, whether it was with his time or money. He had smiling eyes that lit up a room and exuded kindness and compassion.

Al had an amazing impact on the people in his life, treating everyone with respect and always ready to lend a helping hand.

Al was the beloved husband of Diane (Singer) Weber of St. Leon for 34 years. He will be dearly missed by his mother, Jeannie Weber, of Trenton, OH; siblings Terri (Carl) Augustine, Marilyn (Dan) King, Alison (Jeff) Dawson, and David (Yolanda) Weber; the Singer family, including sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Linda Coyne, Ron and Barb Singer, David and Paulette Singer, Dennis and Janet Singer, and Melissa Singer-Reed; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

Al was preceded in death by his nephews, Matthew Weber and Justin King; father, Harold Weber; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Alma and Wilbur Singer; brothers-in-law, Chuck Reed and Jim Coyne; and adored fur babies, Steinway and Wiley.

Al was a lifelong musician. After retiring from General Electric, he started his own HVAC business.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 3–6 p.m. at the American Legion Post #77, 1290 Fairfield Avenue, Brookville, IN 47012. There will be a brief ceremony at 3 p.m. followed by full military honors at 3:30 p.m.

Al loved his country and was proud to have served in the United States Army. Memorial donations may be directed to the Post #77 Firing Squad or the Post #77 American Legion at the address above.
