Wilma Jean Bauer, age 74, of Richmond, died Saturday afternoon, Dec. 25, 2021 at her residence in Richmond surrounded by family.

Born March 18, 1947 in McKee, Kentucky, she was one of three children born to the late Daniel and Lillian (Marcum) Sparks. She lived much of her life in Union County, and had been employed at Walmart in Oxford.

She spent her life caring for and giving to others; her laughter and smile was contagious, and she will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends whom she touched.

Survivors include three children, Deanna (Keith) Bunch of Holiday, Florida, Barry Lee (Rachel) Hann of Liberty and Charlene Dun-kin of Connersville; five grandchildren, Kenneth Powell, Natasha Powell, Lexi Hann, Desiree (Justin) Carter, Savannah Dunkin; three great-grandchildren, Joshua Powell, Jameson Carter and Jenna Carter; a sister, Vickie Ann (Jessie) Earl of Connersville, a brother, Kenneth Sparks of Brownsville.

There will be no public services.
