Head coach Derek Stang and his staff delivered the postseason baseball awards for the Franklin County High School Wildcats at a recent gathering.

Senior Joe Fields and sophomore Brant Ertel earned the Pitching and Hitting Awards, respectively, and Ertel was named team Most Valuable Player. Fields and classmate Garrett Ertel received Wildcat Awards for varsity and, along with Brant Ertel and junior Remington Watters, were named all-Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference. The younger Ertel was an Academic All-Conference member and on the strength of a no-hitter earned the Best Single Game Performance plaque.

Sophomore Joe Sacksteder was given the junior varsity Wildcat Award while junior Clay Medecke was Academic All-Conference. Reserve Pitching Awards went to juniors Adam Daugherty and Trey Lohrey. Junior Trevon Lintz garnered the Hitting Award.

For the C team, it was Eli Butt (Hitting), Isaiah Lee (Wildcat) and Ethan Brewer (Pitching).
