Connersville claimed the 2021 Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference boys golf title on its home course of Willowbrook Country Club Saturday, firing a collective round of 341 and boasting the conference MVP in senior Jonah Graham. Graham toured the course in 77 strokes, five over par.

Franklin County ended up in 7th place with a score of 393, three shots back of East Central and three in front of Lawrenceburg.

South Dearborn made a strong push with the 2nd-4th individuals but came up at 345 for runner-up. Rushville was a distant 3rd with 375.

Senior Adam Kelly Jr. paced the Wildcats with a score of 91 and Austin Hill was next with a 99 card. Peyton McCreary finished at 100, Josh Bauman at 103 and Kaden Erfman at 109. Kelly missed all-conference honors by a single stroke.

FC hosts Centerville Thursday at Brook Hill and Cambridge City Monday. In between is the New Castle Invitational Saturday.
