She was born to Floyd R. and DeElla (Anderson) Bennet on September 24, 1928.
She married Leon Maxwell “Max” Dare in Brookville, IN on March 11, 1950.
They farmed in the Bath area for most of their lives.
“Lucille’s” family includes two daughters, “Kathy” Dare Dunn of Huntingburg, IN; Connie Dare Welcher of Indianapolis, IN; and a son “Mike” Dare of the Pensacola, FL area; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and their families as well as a cousin, Barbara Lombardo and her family also of FL.
“Lucille” was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and DeElla Bennet,
and by her husband, “Max” Dare on March 8, 2012.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the West College Corner Cemetery, West College Corner, IN at 4:00 PM EDT with family visitation prior to the Service from 3:30 to 4:00 PM. Rev. Jason Bantz, Pastor of Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church, Trenton, OH will be officiating.
As seating is limited, please bring your own lawn chair. In case of inclement weather, the Service will be held at the former Bath Store, 3115 Bath Road, Bath, IN . A fellowship meal will be hosted at the Bath Store following the Service. Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to attend.
