The Centerville Bulldogs arrived at UCHS undefeated in five starts this season and returned home undefeated after the 62-0 win at Curry/Phenis Field.

“We knew it was going to be tough,” UC football coach Joel Hofmann said. “They are the best team we have played since I’ve been here.”

Centerville won the opening coin toss and deferred to set their game plan in motion.

The Patriots punted on fourth down.
The Bulldogs scored a touchdown on first possession and each possession thereafter.

Nine Centerville touchdowns in 52 plays while allowing the Patriots to reach midfield once in nine possessions.

Centerville’s roster (14 seniors, 10 juniors, 15 sophomores and 14 freshmen)more than doubles Union County.

Sophomore Jake Tinkle finished with 153 total yards (126 passing, 27 rushing).

Seniors Jamari Pamplin had 126 yards rushing and Devin Frazier 87 receiving yards and an interception.

Leading the Bulldog tackle chart – junior Jake Crowe (8 and 1 assist), senior Bryce Robertson (5 and 4 assists), juniors Collin Clark (4 and 7 assists) and Cole Jordan (4 and 4 assists). UC stats were not available at press time.
Union County honored 18 seniors in a pre-game Senior Night program...
Seven football players (Jaden Bias, Gabe Cox, Skyler Edwards, Tristan Jones, David Kalnbach, Blake Richards, Reece Watterson).
Five band members (Grace Arididon, Morgan Ball, Lorna Bradbury, Makayla Delaney, Jared Derickson).
