The Franklin County cross country teams competed at the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference championships hosted by Batesville High School Saturday morning after a bit of weather delay.

Batesville, led by conference MVP Benjamin Moster and runner-up Ean Loichinger, comfortably won the team title with a cool 24 points. The Wildcat boys were tied with Lawrenceburg at 138 points but the tiebreak dropped them to 6th of 7 full teams. Connersville was incomplete.
Ben Maze (18:25) and Adam Grant (18:40) were one, two for FC, finishing in 14th and 20th. For his effort, Maze was named all-EIAC. Harmon Marshall was next in 29th (19:36), Eric Schwab raced 37th (21:09), Hunter Marshall was 38th (21:25) and Owen Darwish 42nd (23:19).
