Ronald Eugene “Ron” Moore, age 64, of Richmond, Indiana, died Friday, April 8, at home surrounded by his family.
Ron was born on May 24, 1957, in Liberty, to James and Geraldine Plemons Moore. He retired from the City of Oxford Water Department, where he worked as a water distribution operator, and later drove a school bus for Centerville-Abington Community Schools. Ron was active in the ministry of the Richmond Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was a craftsman, woodworker, car enthusiast, and an avid mustache afficionado. Ron loved children.
Survivors include his wife of almost 10 years, Eileen Brandon Moore; children, Tyler Moore of Oxford, Ohio, Brandi (Jeremiah) Ginn of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Casey Daubenmire of Connersville; grandchildren, Jasmine, Evan, Alivia, Declan, and Gracie; great-grandson, Gage; parents, James and Geraldine Moore of Richmond; siblings, Michael Moore of Centerville, and Gina (Jeff) Cuff of Mesa, Arizona; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends, including Tyler and Brandi's mother, Phoebe June Armstrong.
Memorial visitation for Ronald Eugene “Ron” Moore will be from 3 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with his best friend, Minister David Miller, officiating.
