The Union County Cancer Association (UCCA) is in search of a new logo. Jerry Ashbrook, president of the UCCA said, “We have never really had a logo.  I want us to have something that people will look at and know that it is The Union County Cancer Association.” The UCCA would like for the logo to be donated but will give all the credit to the artist.” Ashbrook went on to say.

The UCCA began in 2015 and has not chosen a logo yet. They would like to have someone from Union County be the designer but are exploring all options. If you are creative and willing to donate your artwork, the UCCA winning logo will be chosen at their meeting on Tuesday, April 19, at 6 p.m. in the back room of Pizza King.

All residents of Union County are invited to attend and submit their artwork. Ashbrook also stated, “If you are interested in becoming a member, you are welcome to join us at any one of our meetings.”  If you wish to submit your artwork prior to the meeting or can't attend the meeting, you can drop it off at Epic Insurance located at 45 West Union Street, across from the northside of the courthouse. They are accepting digital or physical submissions.  You can also email any submissions you wish to donate to [email protected]

You can mail them to PO Box 294 Liberty, IN 47353, but any submissions not received before April 19 will not be considered. If you would like more information, you can visit the UCCA Facebook page and message them with any questions.
