A new non-profit dedicated to supporting local first responders has just announced their first event.

The Tri-State First Responders Association will host a rodeo and country music concert at the Franklin County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 11. The concert will feature music by Matt Gibson and 4 LOW.

"We’ll have food trucks, split the pot and just a good ol’ time. We will be selling tickets the day of, but be sure to secure yours before- hand," the organization announced. You can learn more by visiting tri-state1strespondersassociation.org.

The Tri-State First Responders Association was founded with the goal of helping local public safety agencies and communities through fundraising, special events, education and community outreach.
