By Cassie Garrett-

Twenty years ago, Kevin and Alice Priessman decided to add a couple of reindeer to enhance the Whitetail Acres Tree Farm experience. They had no idea that one day raising reindeer would become a full-time addition to their tree farm and landscaping business in Brookville." We have four boys and a girl now; they have all been born in the last two weeks, and hopefully, we will have four more. Reindeer Encounters are offered at the tree farm, but the Priesmanns share the reindeer well beyond the farm as they travel to nursing homes, churches, Christmas tree lightings, and town squares. As the reindeer family grows, names that stick with the Christmas theme become harder to think of. This year's names stem from the classic movie "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" and include Herbie, Cornelius, and Fireball. However, one reindeer is extra special as Alice has bottle-fed him since he was born. So, with special circumstances came a special name.

"We have one little guy who is extremely special to me because he is a bottle-fed boy, and his name is Joey B," Alice shared. "I don't know if you can tell by the name; we are big Bengals fans.”

It is an exciting time for the Priesmanns because the new additions mean more love to share.

"When we see their eyes literally light up, it just gets us all giddy," Alice shared. "It is always fun, but when you see people get as excited and love them as much as you do, that is just a thrill.”
