Saturday, Sept. 3, and Sunday, Sept. 4, the little town of Metamora will be jam-packed with musicians for the 24th Annual Metamora Music Festival.

The annual Labor Day event features free live music all around town. The main stage, the Back Porch, and the Side Stage Showcase is a short walk down Lover's Lane along the canal. 

The lineup for Saturday is:

In Duck Creek Crossing, across the street from the old Metamora Grist Mill, is the Duck Creek stage, sponsored by the shops of Duck Creek and Franklin County Farmers Mutual Insurance.

"The Metamora Music Festival showcases many local and regional artists over two days," Duck Creek Crossing shop owner Beverly Spurlin explained. "These stages are all across the village, and musicians perform throughout the day on both Saturday and Sunday."

“With the addition of the Columbia Street Music District this year, folks have the opportunity to visit four different venues; the Main Stage on Lover's Lane, the Duck Creek Stage, The Cat and The Fiddle, and Harlan's Juke Joint." Spurlin continued. "The Music Festival is my favorite festival of the year; anyone who enjoys live music will love it as much as I do!"

The Columbia Street Music District will participate in the fun with live music at The Cat and the Fiddle and Harlan's Juke Joint.

The Cat and the Fiddle Event Center at the Blacksmith Shop:??
•The Stones of Clayborn - 12 to 2 p.m. 
•Frank Black - 3 to 5 p.m. 
Harlan's Juke Joint:
•Jim Pennington - 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.  
•Rhinestone Cowgirls - 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. 

Columbia Street Music District Schedule for Sunday:
The Cat and the Fiddle Event Center at the Blacksmith Shop:
•Dean Phelps - 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. 
Harlan's Juke Joint:
Will Scott - 2 to 3 p.m. 

The Cat and the Fiddle will offer homemade BBQ to enjoy while listening to music, amongst several other food locations.

The Metamora Opry Barn will host New Trad at the barn on Saturday night. Tickets are available on the website metamorampa.org.
