Lady Falcons fall to Lady Patriots, 186-197

Union County finished on top of a 3-way match at Winchester Golf Course last week. The Lady Patriots’ 186 was led by medalist Peityn Gillman’s 38. Winchester posted 197 and Union City did not have a complete team.
The win lifts UC to 7-1 overall and 4-0 in the Tri-Eastern Conference.
The Milan Lady Indians visited Liberty Country Club on Monday, Aug. 22, in a non-comference match. UC finished with 187 and Milan 248. Gillman was medalist at 40 with a birdie, three pars, 4 bogies and a double.
Union County is at Centerville on Thursday, Sept. 1, at Knightstown in a 3-way with Northeastern Thursday, Sept. 8 and at the Tri-Eastern Conference tournament Saturday, Sept. 10.
