This past Saturday, Dec. 3rd, Main Street took part in the Cookie Crumb Trail. Marked by signs, various businesses opened their doors to customers with small treats and cookies. Each participant was given a list with 20+ places to stop for the trail. Once you had your location punched in, you were able to collect a treat provided.

Several businesses included were Knecht's, Hometown Video, Coffee on Main, My Lady's, The Daily Scoop, and Allison Jades.

Each stop was a mixture of excitement and fun for kids who had the chance to get out, check out all the Christmas decorations, grab some cookies, and enjoy some family time. With how successful the Cookie Crumb trail was, we hope to see it again next year.

Alongside the trail, Cobblestone Inn and Suites offered a Hot Cocoa Bar for visitors and families. This went on from 12pm-5pm and their set up couldn't have been more engaging and fun. Hot chocolate, various candy toppings, syrup, whipped cream, and a large selection of cookies to enjoy. With Christmas right around the corner, let's hope there are more hot cocoa bars to enjoy as we bring in the holiday season.
