Judith “Judy” Ridenour, 78, died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Whitewater Commons Living Center in Liberty.

Judy was born April 29, 1943 to Roland W. and Edith F. Gans Snyder. Judy loved spending her time in her flower garden, sewing, painting, and knitting.

She was strong in her Christian faith. Judy was a charitable woman, she gave to anyone that was in need. More than anything, she dearly loved her son and wished to know where he was.

Judy is survived by her son: Marcus Lynn Bales; brother: Vernon Snyder of Cambridge, a brother in San Antonio; niece: Terri Shipskie and her husband, Paul; nephews: Roy Ridenour, Mark Ridenour; dear neighbor and friend: Daniel Mays; several special lady friends.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother.

A funeral service was conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at Showalter Blackwell Long, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty, with burial to follow at College Corner Cemetery. Friends visited at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to The Billy Graham's Association.
