Born April 23rd, 1959, in Batesville, IN, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Hazel (Moore) Mullins. She was united in marriage to Jim Richardson on August 14, 1976, and he survives.
Besides spending time with her family, Naomi enjoyed traveling. She was especially fond of the Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg TN area. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing. Naomi touched many lives with her love and care. She will be missed beyond measure.
Besides Jim, her loving husband of over 45 years, survivors include three children, Elizabeth (Brad) Monroe of Brookville, IN; Jeffery (Misty) Richardson of Metamora, IN; and Amanda (Jake) Swanson of Covington, IN. Nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren; surviving siblings include Ray Mullins, Laverne Metcalf, Walter (Nancy) Mullins, John Cecil (Donna) Mullins, Ellar (James) Sandlin, all of Brookville, IN; Jewell (Johny) Richardson of Laurel, IN; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Roy Mullins, two sisters-in-law Paulette and Mary Mullins, also one brother-in-law Clarence Metcalf.
Naomi chose cremation and per her wishes there will be no services held. Family and friends are encouraged to remember and honor her as the hard working, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that she was.
