James had spent most of his life as a resident of Union County. He was born to James Estridge, Sr. and Norma (Hanna) Bell on September 1, 1948 in Richmond. He married Sue (McClure) Estridge on February 11, 1966 and they remaind married until her passing on November 29, 2016.
James is survived by his sons, Scott (Deborah) Estridge of Avilla, Chad (Janet) Estridge of Laurel, Montana, Aric Estridge of West College Corner, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, brother Dennis (Latricia) Estridge of West College Corner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one granddaughter.
James worked at Batesville Casket Company for 25 years. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
There will be a graveside service on June 16th at College Corner Cemetery at 1 p.m. for the interment of James and Sue Estridge. A gathering of family and friends will follow.
