He was born January 10, 1962 in Connersville, one of eight children of Bert Tincher and Martha Ladd Tincher Eurick.
In his leisure, he enjoyed spending time with his son, Toby Alan Tincher, and his family and friends. He also loved going to cookouts and working on lawn mowers.
Alvin was one of a kind and never knew a stranger. He was always there to help, and he especially enjoyed helping his friends on their farm.
Survivors include his son, Toby Alan Tincher; six siblings, Roger Tincher (Kim Harrison) of Fountaintown, Indiana, Bert Tincher, Jr. of Falmouth, Indiana, Barbara Henderson of McKee, Kentucky, Mary Tincher, Larry Tincher, and Charlie (Pam) Tincher, all of Rushville, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Tincher; a nephew, Billy Swank III; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2022 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Stipps Hill Cemetery, Laurel, Indiana.
