Lena Raellen Webb, age 88, formerly of Centerville, Indiana, died Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Reid Health.
Born March 15, 1934, in Hagerstown, Indiana, to Clyde and Hazel Runyon House, Raellen returned to Wayne County, Indiana, in 1981, after living in Tennessee for 30 years. She retired from Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee, where she worked as a cook for nearly 10 years. Raellen also worked at Deco Quilt for 15 years, Nettle Creek Industries for 16 years, and Cox's Supermarket. She was a member of White Branch Church of the Brethren in Hagerstown.
Survivors include her children, Daryll “Buster” (Lilah) Webb of Williamsburg, Indiana, and Ladona Webb of Brookville; grandchildren, Michael Atkins and Freida Plyley; great-grandchildren, Devin Plyley, Kelvin Plyley (Kaylee Duncil), Kevin Plyley (Taylor Florence), and Danielle (Denver) Ahlers; great-great-grandson, Hayden and a great-great-grandson and great-great-granddaughter on the way; sisters, Fredette “Bootsie” Cash and Caralou Poore; brother, Jerry House; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Darlton D. “Skeeter” Webb, who died October 7, 2011; parents; and brothers, Fred and Aubrey “Bud” House.
Visitation for Lena Raellen Webb will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Abington Cemetery with her daughter, Rev. Ladona Webb, officiating.
