He was preceded in death by his father Paul Waltz and his mother Geneva Lanning Waltz. He is survived by two sisters, Virginia Orenstein, of Lakewood Ranch and Dianna Holtsclaw of Bloomfield, and two nieces, Kathryn Claywell and Angela Jackson, and three nephews Jeffrey Matthews, Stephen Matthews and Matthew Holtsclaw.
Paul was born on Feb. 16, 1952. He graduated from Brookville, High School in 1970 and earned a B.A. in Accounting from Ball State University. He was a stockbroker in Venice, Florida and retired from A.G. Edward & Sons in 2007.
He was an amateur musician and avid dog lover. His beloved Maltese Kady was adopted by his lifelong friend Benny Alig.
