Franklin County gets by UC golf

Union County’s boys golf team fell to Franklin County, 195-200, at Liberty Country Club and Northeastern, 167-192, at Highland Lakes last week.
Franklin County’s Peyton McCreary was medalist at 42.
Nick Orr and Gabe Cox both finished with 43 to lead UC on the home course.
Orr and Carson Whitley led the Patriots with 44 at Highland.

Union County is at Centerville (today) Thursday, May 5 and returns home May 9 to host Knightstown, May 10, to host Connersville and May 12, with Hagerstown visiting. The Pats are on the road at Randolph Southern May 16.
