Becky Lou Weller, 95, of Ocala, Florida, went to be with The Lord May 1, 2022 at Bridgewater Park Health and Rehab from a stroke with family by her side. She was born July 18, 1926 at Liberty and was raised by her mother Lois M. Crist Howe and Charles N Howe, New Paris, Ohio. Becky spent considerable time with Grandpa and Grandma Earl and Nellie Crist of Liberty, including staying with Earl Crist during her high school years graduating from Short High School in Liberty, Class of 1944.  Directly out of school, Becky joined the WWII Army Cadet Corp of Nursing; training performed at Reid Memorial Hospital. She graduated with a RN degree and after the war continued to work at Reid Hospital until 1969.  Becky married her school sweetheart Robert Bryce Weller of Brownsville, October 26, 1946 and resided in Liberty until 1969 when they moved to Clearwater, Florida. Becky retired from Suncoast Hospital of Largo, Florida in 1992  when the Wellers retired to Fairfield Village Mobile Park in Ocala, Florida, living until 2018.

Becky Lou practiced her nursing skill for 40 years and part-time 8 years after retiring. Her specialty was Ob/Gyn helping birth thousands of babies bringing great joy into the world. Becky took care of neighbors and family medical needs while off duty “always the nurse”.  Becky liked to sew and cook for family gatherings, she attended her high school reunions and nursing reunions most of her years. . She was a gentle soul with great inner strength from her faith. In her youth, she was an accomplished oil painter and the family is blessed with her paintings.

Becky Lou is survived by her daughter H. Jean (Ricky) Jackson, Ocala, Florida and son Daniel B. Weller. Knoxville, grandchildren Julee Stoner Wingate, Georgia, Monica Mosley, Texas,  Jessica Stoner Dixon, Florida, S. Shane Weller, Indiana, Lisa Weller Keller, Indiana. Scott Weller, Ohio. Great-Grandchildren 9, Great-Great-Grandchildren 1. Step-Grandchildren 4.

Becky Lou predeceased her husband of 72 years Robert Bryce Weller, daughter Janet E. Gosnell, son Samuel J. Weller, and all siblings Anna M Schell, Iona M. Lacey, Calvin E. Howe.

Memorial service to honor her is Friday June 3, 2022 at 11:00A.M. with luncheon following at Becky's church, College Park Church of God/Revos 3140 SW 26 St, Ocala, FL, officiated by Pastor Dr. James Fleming. Becky loved flowers so flowers welcomed. Special thanks to Bridgewater Park loving staff, great-grandchild S. Hunter Weller,  Laura J. Belknap, and Jialan Weller for their attention to Becky.
