Samuel Shane Weller, age 47, of Liberty, passed away on May 10, as the result of an accident.  Born on June 29, 1974, in Middletown, Ohio, he is the son of Sheryl Harvey Weller and the late Sam Weller.

He graduated from Union County High School in 1992 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Vincennes University, graduating in 1995.   He married the love of his life, Amanda Rogers Weller, on August 8, 1998.  Mrs. Weller survives.

Samuel loved to spend time with his kids and family.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, mushroom hunting, and riding his motorcycle.  He was known as a man with a kind heart and would help anyone in any way that he could.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by a daughter, Madison Richardson; sons, Ian Stamper, Hunter Weller, and Joey Weller; brother, Chris Weller; and sister, Lisa Weller.  Fond memories will be cherished by his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Harvey; uncles, Gary Harvey and Steven Harvey; nephew Matthew Keller and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Samuel was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents, Bryce and Becky Weller; maternal grandfather, Tom Harvey; uncles Thomas Harvey and David Manley; and a niece Samantha Keller.

Friends and family gathered on Monday May 16, at Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home, 310 N Main Street, Liberty, from 5-7 p.m.  Funeral service was conducted at 7 p.m.
