UC defeats Knightstown, falls to Connersville

Union County’s boys golf team split a couple of matches at Liberty Country Club last week.
The Patriots defeated Knightstown, 188-208, but fell short of Connersville, 177-183.
Union County’s Nick Orr shot a 3-over-par 38 to earn medalist honors in the Knightstown match. Peyton Inman’s 43 led the Panthers.
Orr was a repeat medalist in the Connerville match with 41.

Union County hosts Tri High today, Thursday, May 19. The Golf TEC is Saturday, May 21. The UC Invitational is Tuesday, May 31, the Richmond Invitational is June 2.
