Ruby Faye Roberts, age 77, of Indianapolis, went to see Jesus on Thursday, May 19. Ruby was born July 14, 1944 in Cambridge City, to the late Margaret (Newman) Lawhorn and James Lawhorn. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Virginia Shepherd, Norma Andrews, Beth Kaiser, Mary Helen Davis, and Jim Lawhorn. Ruby was raised and lived many years in Richmond before moving to Indianapolis. She taught Sunday School many years at Thompson Road Baptist Church for many years where she was a member. Ruby loved to be able to impact the children in a positive way and also gave in many other ways to help others quietly.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Eugene Roberts; daughter, Gina Roberts; brother, Oliver Lawhorn; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family members who loved her dearly.

Visitation for Ruby will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237. Her funeral service will be Thursday, May 26, at 10 a.m. at Little & Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow at The Gardens at Olive Branch, Greenwood.
