Union County High School is welcoming Randy Judd as the new principal. Judd is a 1980 graduate of Connersville High school who went on to receive his BA from Earlham College, and his MA from Ball State.
Judd is in his 40th year as an educator. For 20 years he taught social studies before he became the assistant principal for nine years, followed by the high school principal of Connersville for nine years as well.
"I was the UCMS Assistant Principal last year and saw this as a new challenge, and a chance to bring my skills and experience to UCHS," states Judd.
As principal, Judd hopes that the UCHS students are able to earn more career certifications and college credits than what has been offered in the past. He also strives to continue the awesome traditions that UCHS already has and see about starting some new ones. It's Judd's belief that the students deserve the same opportunities that other students from surrounding districts have.
Students can look forward to Judd trying everything he can to make them want to be in school, to want to learn, to have success, and to help them find more opportunities than they've ever had.
