Cats close in on 2024

Franklin County’s Wildcats held their third and final home scrimmage Thursday against the Northeastern Knights. The next official action for the Cats will be an IHSAA-sanctioned scrimmage next Friday at Batesville, 7 p.m. The 2024 season kicks off Aug. 23 at home against New Castle, also 7 p.m.

Fans can shop for their favorite FC football shirts until Aug. 15 by going to fc12thmanclub.itemorder.com/

Other Wildcat sporting events coming up are the girls golf opener Monday as Greensburg visits the municipal Brook Hill Golf Club, a home volleyball scrimmage Wednesday against Centerville and another golf meet at Batesville next Thursday.
