A pair of Oldenburg Academy players from the 2021 Twister squad have been named honorable mention on the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State teams covering the state’s four classes.

Riley Schebler and Andrew Oesterling (both Class of 2021) were chosen from OA and represent Class A. South Ripley’s Brady Linkel was one of two pitchers selected for 1st-team all-state in Class 2A. Second baseman Alex VanWinkle of Union County joined Linkel on the 2A All-State unit.

Colson Montgomery of Southridge was automatically selected based on being drafted in the MLB draft earlier this month. The shortstop went in the first round and recently inked a contract with the Chicago White Sox.
