The boys of fall– A peek into the future

The Patriots lost 11 to graduation last spring and have worked through the summer to rebuild and move on from the 3-6 record.
Rosters are not available at the present time but Hofmann said the number (of players) is in the mid-20s.
“Of those numbers, a lot are juniors and seniors who have been around awhile,” he continued. “They are a good group of kids who have worked all summer and done everything we have asked them to do.”
Time will tell and in the meantime Hofmann and the Patriots are putting in their time on the practice field preparing for the season.
The pre-season scrimmage is at home tomorrow - Friday, Aug 13, with South Decatur.
A week later UC opens the season with TEC rival Northeastern visiting on Aug 20. Game time is 7 p.m.
