The Kentucky Warriors, a local AAU basketball organization, recently competed in the Under Armour Midwest Region Championships on June 5-6 in Cincinnati.

The Warriors’ 11th-grade team competed against teams from Cincinnati, Chicago, Illinois, Lexington, Kentucky and Detroit. The team defeated the Detroit AAU team in the championship finals. The Warriors are made up of players from local high schools in northern Kentucky and southeast Indiana, including JD Stokes of Franklin County High School.
